- Contractubex is a dermatological agent for local use in the treatment of scars.
Contractubex is used to treat rough, overgrown, red, swollen, motion-limiting and cosmetic scars after surgery, amputations, burns and injuries.
Contractubex has a softening and smoothing effect on hardened, overgrown, painful and cosmetically damaged skin tissue. Heparin facilitates the hydration (water-binding capacity) of hardened tissue, thereby causing swelling and loosening of scars.
- When should you not use Contractubex?
Contractubex should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to methyl-parahydroxybenzoate or other ingredients of the product.
