Coquelusédal infant suppositories is a medicine composed of a combination of active ingredients of phytotherapy with antitussive aim. It is used in infants up to 30 months, during acute benign bronchial conditions.
It is composed of soft hydroalcoholic extract of grindelia (10mg) and soft hydroalcoholic extract of gelsemium (5 mg), quantities of active substances contained in 1 suppository. The excipients contain propylene glycol and solid semisynthetic glycerides.
Dosage of Coquelusédal infant
The usual dosage of Coquelusédal infant is 1 to 2 suppositories per day , to be administered rectally. Always follow the dosage indicated by your doctor. If in doubt, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
The duration of treatment for coughs should be as short as possible, due to the risk of local toxicity. If the disorders persist, or in the event of signs of worsening such as the appearance of fever, fatty or purulent expectoration, or in the event of chronic disease of the bronchi and lungs, you should consult your doctor.
