Bilastin 20 mg
Excipients
Mannitol, Microcrystalline cellulose, Sodium carboxymethyl starch type A, Simaldrate, Magnesium stearate, Highly dispersed silicon dioxide
Applications
They are used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (hay fever, sneezing, itching, runny nose, nasal congestion, red and watery eyes) and other forms of allergic rhinitis. They can also be used to treat itchy skin rashes (urticaria or hives).
Dosage
The recommended dose is 1 tablet (20 mg bilastine) per day for adults, including the elderly and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
Use in children
Other applicable dosage forms of this medicine – Bilastine 10 mg orodispersible tablets or Bilastine 2.5 mg/ml oral solution – should be used in children aged 6 to 11 years weighing at least 20 kg: consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Bilastine should not be given to children under 6 years of age or to children weighing less than 20 kg, as there is insufficient data available.
Bilastine should not be used in children under 12 years of age without a doctor’s prescription.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be taken
if you are allergic to bilastine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.”
