“Composition
Glycerol 85%, stearic acid, sodium carbonate.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
In children under 1 year of age, suppositories should be used after consulting a doctor.
Children aged 1-3 years: 1/2 suppository cut lengthwise at night.
Children aged 3-6 years: 1 to 2 suppositories at night.
The laxative effect occurs 15-60 minutes after use.
Indications
Avenalax is used to treat constipation as a mild laxative.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
In rectal cancer.
In case of acute renal failure.
Appendicitis and other inflammatory conditions in the abdominal cavity.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Rare side effects (1 patient in 10,000): irritation of the rectal mucosa, caused by hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at temperatures below 25 oC.
Do not use for a long period of time and if constipation persists despite administering the suppository, consult a doctor.
