Econazole 1% Biogaran powder is a topical antifungal medication that can treat certain skin mycoses , including fungi of the imidazole family. It is indicated in cases of candidiasis and dermatophytosis. Its active substance is econazole nitrate, dosed at 1%, or 1 g per 100 g, corresponding to 0.86 g of basic econazole. The other ingredients are talc, anhydrous colloidal silica (AEROSIL 300) and zinc oxide.
Dosage of Econazole powder Biogaran
Intended for external use only, this medication is applied locally to the skin, 2 to 3 times a day, without ever exceeding 3 applications per day. As for the duration of treatment, it should be between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on the advice of your doctor.
Be sure to clean the skin well and dry it before any application.
