“Active ingredients 100 ml contains: Active ingredient: benzydamine hydrochloride 100 mg (equivalent to 89.46 mg benzydamine). Excipient with known effect: benzalkonium chloride, rose perfume base (benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl cinnamate, benzyl salicylate, citral, citronellol, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, limonene, linanool). Vulvovaginitis of any origin and nature, characterized by slight vaginal discharge, itching, irritation, burning and pain of the vulva. Intimate hygiene in the postpartum period.
Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1, or to chemically related substances.
Dosage: 1-2 vaginal irrigations per day for seven days. The solution can be used at room temperature. If you want to warm it up, simply run the closed bottle under running hot water for a few minutes.
Storage. This medicinal product does not require special storage conditions. Store the bottle upright.
Warnings Use, especially prolonged use, of topical products may lead to sensitization, in which case it is necessary to suspend treatment and take appropriate therapeutic measures. Advise patient to consult a physician before use if vaginal bleeding and/or leucorrhoea occurs.
Effects Sometimes, especially with prolonged use of the product, skin irritation may occur. Reporting of Suspected Adverse Reactions Reporting of suspected adverse reactions occurring after marketing authorization of a medicinal product is important because it allows ongoing monitoring of the benefit/risk balance of the medicinal product. Health care professionals are asked to report any suspected adverse reactions through the national reporting system at
Overdose. Intoxication is expected only in the event of accidental ingestion of large quantities of benzydamine (>300 mg). Symptoms associated with benzydamine overdose are primarily gastrointestinal in nature and affect the central nervous system. The most common gastrointestinal symptoms are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and esophageal irritation. Central nervous system symptoms include dizziness, hallucinations, agitation, restlessness, and irritability. In case of acute overdose, only symptomatic treatment can be carried out. Patients should be closely monitored and receive supportive treatment. Adequate hydration must be maintained.
Pregnancy There are no contraindications to the topical use of benzydamine during pregnancy and lactation.”
