Gynoxin Optima contains the active substance fenticonazole, which is an imidazole derivative with a wide range of antifungal activity, including against yeast. Fenticonazole also has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Indications
Fungal inflammation of the vagina and vulva, also called vaginal and vulvar candidiasis.
Treatment of mixed vaginal infections.
Gynoxin Optima is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age.
Patients over 60 years of age should consult a doctor before use. Gynoxin Optima vaginal capsules are intended for vaginal use only. They should not be taken orally. Only a doctor can make a reliable diagnosis of mycosis and the sensitivity of the microorganism to fenticonazole.

Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Gynoxin Optima vaginal capsules are for vaginal use only.
Do not take vaginal capsules by mouth. The recommended dose is: − 1 vaginal capsule, soft, used once a day for three consecutive days. Insert deeply into the vagina in the evening before going to bed. Children and adolescents The recommended dose for adolescents aged 16 years and over is the same as for adults.”
