“Active ingredients: Chlorhexidine digluconate.
Excipients: 1% solution: lemon balm essential oils, deionized water. 5% solution: deionized water, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate. Vaginal ova: polyglycol.
Indications for use
1% solution: disinfection and cleaning of damaged skin (wounds, ulcers, burns, abrasions), hand antiseptic. 5% solution: disinfection and cleaning of damaged skin (wounds, ulcers, burns, abrasions), external antiseptics in feminine intimate hygiene, general antiseptics. Vaginal ovules: disinfection of the vaginal mucosa.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to one of the components. The product should not come into contact with the brain, meninges, or penetrate the ear canal in case of perforation of the eardrum.
Dosage
>>1% solution. Disinfection of wounds, ulcers, burns, abrasions: apply pure to the skin, possibly also with a compress and without rinsing, twice a day. Hand antiseptic: use directly, without rinsing. >>5% solution. External antiseptics in feminine intimate hygiene, general antiseptics: dilute one part of the product in nine parts of water (0.5% dilution in water). Apply to skin without rinsing, twice a day. Preoperative skin disinfection, emergency hand disinfection: dilute one part of the drug in nine parts of 70-degree ethanol (0.5% dilution in 70-degree ethanol). >>Vaginal eggs. One, maximum two eggs per day for a maximum of ten days in a row.
Warnings
Do not use for long-term treatment. After short-term treatment without noticeable results, consult a doctor. Accidental ingestion or inhalation of some disinfectants can have serious, sometimes fatal, consequences. The product is for external use only; use, especially long-term, of topical agents can cause sensitization; in this case, stop treatment and consult a doctor to select appropriate therapy. AVOID EYE CONTACT. After application, do not expose the treated area to sunlight.
Interactions
Avoid simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents.
Undesirable effects.
In some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur, but without consequences, which does not require a change in treatment. Some rare cases of idiosyncrasy have been reported with chlorhexidine. Side effects include skin sensitivity and conjunctival irritation from concentrated solutions.
Pregnancy
There are no contraindications, since absorption of the drug through the skin is extremely limited, however, as for the vaginal form, the drug should be used only if really necessary, under the direct supervision of a doctor.”
