NiQuitin transdermal patch is used to relieve symptoms resulting from nicotine withdrawal, such as nicotine cravings, nervousness, anxiety, irritability, mood disorders, sleep disorders, concentration disorders, increased appetite, and mild somatic disorders associated with quitting smoking.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Level 1 contains 21 mg of nicotine released in the body per 24 hours.
For people who smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, the nicotine dose is reduced in three stages: stage 1 (21 mg/24 hours) 6 weeks.
The medicine should not be used for longer than 10 weeks. If the treatment does not bring the expected result, consult your doctor to arrange further treatment.”
