The active substance of the drug is: liver oil (type B) ( Iecoris Aselli Oleum ).
1 capsule contains 500 mg of liver oil.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults: 2-4 capsules 2 times a day.
Children from 4 years of age: 1-2 capsules a day.
Action
Tran Hasco contains liver oil which is obtained from cod liver and other cod family fish. The oil contains EFAs (like DHA and EPA) and vitamins: A and D.
EFAs – unsaturated fatty acids lower LDL and TG (triglycerides), increase HDL.
Vitamin D, or cholecalciferol, affects the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the body. Phosphorus and calcium are the building blocks of bones.
Vitamin A is essential for the growth, development of the skin, mucous membranes, and bone formation. He also takes part in the process of seeing.
Indications
- supportive treatment and prevention of vitamin A and D deficiency,
- prevention of rickets,
- bone tissue calcification disorders,
- relieving changes related to menopause (osteoporosis, atrophy of mucous membranes and skin),
- a strengthening and regenerating agent in the period of weakened efficiency and immunity, in the period of convalescence.
Contraindications
Do not use Tran Hasco :
- if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
- in the case of hypercalcemia and nephrolithiasis.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Hasco oil , when used in the recommended doses, is well tolerated.
Warnings and Precautions
- Tran Hasco should be used with caution in patients with sarcoidosis (hypersensitivity to vitamin D).
- Do not exceed the dose of 8 capsules a day without a doctor’s recommendation.
- Store below 25 ° C in the original package in order to protect from light.
- Keep the drug out of the sight and reach of children.
Use of other medications
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the drugs you are taking or have recently taken, and about any drugs you plan to take, including those sold without a prescription.
Tran Hasco may interact with:
- paraffin oil (decrease in the absorption of vitamins A and D),
- anticonvulsants, barbiturates (decrease in vitamin D absorption),
- cardiac glycosides (due to the presence of vitamin D).
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.
High doses of vitamin A may cause developmental disorders of the fetus.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Tran Hasco can be used in children from 4 years of age.
