“Zyrtec 10 mg film-coated tablets are used in adults and children over 6 years of age:
– for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis
– to relieve the symptoms of urticaria.
Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years of age because the film-coated tablets may not allow for proper dosing.
Zyrtec should not be used by pregnant women. Accidental use of the drug should not have a harmful effect on the fetus. However, take this medication only when absolutely necessary and after consulting with your doctor.
Cetirizine is excreted in breast milk. The risk of side effects in breastfed children cannot be excluded. Therefore, you should not take Zyrtec while breastfeeding without consulting your doctor.
Application and dosage:
The tablets are swallowed with a glass of water. The tablet can be divided into 2 equal doses.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily.
Children from 6 to 12 years: 1/2 tablet (5 mg) twice a day.
Active ingredients:
Cetirizine dihydrochloride. 1 film-coated tablet contains cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, Opadry Y-1-7000 coating system (hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400).”
