Thiokine contains two active ingredients: codeine and sulfoguaiacol. The first reduces the frequency of coughing, and the second facilitates expectoration. The drug is used for dry, persistent cough without expectoration of secretions.

Acts as an expectorant and promotes the promotion of liquefied secretions in the respiratory tract and its expulsion.
